Tinubu’s aide lauded for spearheading Ado-Odo road rehabilitation
The Pa Philip Akintoye Development Foundation (PAPADEF) has thanked Alhaji Kamardeen Yusuf, Personal Assistant on Special Duties to President BolaTinubu,for facilitating the resumption of work on the Atan-Alapoti-Ado-Odo-Ikoga road project.
The Chief Executive Officer of PAPADEF, Mr Festus Akintoye, who praised Yusuf, described him as a “distinguished and illustrious son of Ado-Odo” whose timely intervention brought long-awaited relief to the people.
He said: “For many years, the people of Ado-Odo and neighbouring communities have endured untold hardship and neglect due to the poor condition of this critical road.
“Thanks to Alhaji Yusuf’s commitment and influence at the federal level, construction work has now resumed at an accelerated pace.”
Akintoye moted the road, once a vital commercial artery in the state, had suffered abandonment for years, affecting trade, transportation, and daily life for residents across multiple communities.
The PAPADEF CEO emphasised the wider impact of Yusuf’s efforts, stating that the project would greatly reduce the hardship faced by residents and travelers.
He said it would stimulate economic activity in the region, and open Ado-Odo to new opportunities for growth and development.
“This is more than just road construction—it is the rebuilding of hope for our people,” he noted.
Akintoye also extended gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for approving the project, describing the decision as a “clear sign of responsive leadership” under his administration.

He described his effort as a clear testament to his dedication to public service, saying, “you have shown that public office can truly be a platform for progress. Ado-Odo is proud of you.”
He urged him to continue in his stride, noting that his contributions have not gone unnoticed.
