About Us
PA PHILIP AKINTOYE DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (PAPADEF) is a development and innovative non-religious, non-political, non-governmental organization in Nigeria that works for the promotion of education, women & children’s rights, health and community development.
In Nigeria, about 10.5 million children are not in schools even though primary education is officially free and compulsory (UNICEF 2019). Education is a fundamental human right that promotes sustainable development and lifelong opportunity for all in any society. However, there is no equal access to quality education especially for girls building programs for schools to ensure many more girls and children are in schools, and about 60% out of school children are girls.
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS / AWARDS
Pa. Philip Akintoye Development Foundation since 2019 has achieved the following results:
- Active presence in 3 states and 8 communities,
- Provision of 4 boreholes in 4 communities in Ogun and Lagos state,
- Empowerment of 100 widows in Lagos with seed capital for business,
- Empowerment of 100 widows in Ogun (Ado-Odo) community,
- Donation of books to over 200 students in under privileged communities in Kaduna.
- Sensitization of 1000 school children comprising boys and girls on career choice and sexual abuse prevention
